The Non-Destructive Solution to Mystery Leaks
Helping Solve Michigan Mystery Leaks Sense 2007
Infrared Thermographic Inspections are a powerful and noninvasive means of monitoring and diagnosing the conditions of residential and commercial buildings. We can quickly identify problem areas that can not be seen by the naked eye. We eliminate older, more costly inspection techniques that require lots of labor and destructive probing. Infrared Inspections can provide immediate documentation of damp or wet areas due to water intrusion from leaking plumbing, windows, roofs, walls, and basements.
Our technicians are certified thermographers with years of experience in the leak detection field. Finding the source of the leak is all we do, so you can be sure that we are an unbiased, third party company that you can trust!
Our
Services
-
Under-Slab Leak Detection
Have a leak in your radiant heat lines? How about a heated driveway that isn’t melting the winter snow? Our Infrared Technology allows us to see what the naked eye can’t!
-
Interior Plumbing Leaks
There are a lot of facets to your indoor plumbing, and that can make tracking down a leak difficult. Our tools and expertise can narrow down if the leak is the supply to your toilet, or that pesky kitchen drain (or one of the many areas in-between).
-
Insulation Heat Loss
Thermography allows us to see and measure heat, which includes where in your home you’re losing it! Scans include a detailed picture report.
-
Residential/Commercial Exterior
Foundation, siding, windows, or roof? From below ground to the tip of your chimney, we can pin-point the exact area of intrusion.
-
Flat Roof Scans
Flat roofs are made to hold water, which makes them difficult to pinpoint a leak in. Advanced Infrared has perfected the process of finding residential and commercial flat roof leaks however, and can narrow down that intrusion area!
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
Cost will vary depending on type of leak, type of building, and job location. We will need a detailed explanation of your issue for us to accurately give you a service price; this can be done via phone (800-310-2567) or email (info@theleakfinders.com).
Will I receive a report?
Detailed infrared/digital picture reports are sent out via email and USPS, 3-5 business days after your appointment. These easy to read reports point out where your leak is originating, making it a straightforward answer for you or your contractor to correct the issue.
What areas do you service?
We are located in Shelby Township, Michigan. We service the tri-county area, but being such a unique business means that we do travel further. Any area outside of our immediate service area is subject to a mileage charge.
Do I need to be there for the inspection?
Yes. We are usually onsite for 1-3 hours for most infrared inspections. We will need a homeowner/tenant and access to the interior of home/building for the entire time technicians are onsite.
